I just got my tank set over 2500 last night with another item, so have dps at 2500+ and tanking 2500+

I was thinking we have several folks in the range for ICC10, and we could start fooling around there with trash and bosses.

Even if we get a partial fill and get fill ins from the PUG engine, it would be a good start

We want to make sure we have a gold standard set to where your GS would be at least 2450

If you are DPS, your personal DPS should be clocking 3k or so.

We have enough people in the gear range and ability, we just need to set a date and start fooling around in there

Arthas needs to die, and YOU need Teir 9.5 gear :)

Sign in here if you are interested. I will be willing to coordinate, or just be a soldier if someone else would prefer to lead.
Would do it on a Sat night most likely and would ask that if you come, come prepared to give a couple hours. Nothing blows a raid like having to do a replacement every 30 minutes.

I dont want to be a meanie about the gear, but I am going to be a meanie about the gear. No one wants a fail group. Bring your a game. This is arthas...your going to need a good KILL FACE MARINE

Gear score-wise looks like your list of available candidates are (assuming people were in their best gear/spec when this was pulled):

1 Sisterhawk Holy 2790
2 Nibblefibop Arcane 2578
3 Darkseraf Protection 2471
4 Altheus Assassination 2461
5 Felyne Protection 2457

Aye even 5 out of 10 is a good start, but we have a few others very close. I am setting this up in advance, so that those that do want to be involved can grab that extra piece of gear and we go. I think we have more than 5, its just that they are wearing different specs atm.

And I was happy that I just finally got my gear score to 2k. :-(

Wow-Heroes is only showing Sisterhawk as ICC10 ready. Maybe we should tackle the new Onyxia and ToC10 first? Of course, I'd love to run Uld just to see it...

Wow heroes has ICC10 at 2450 as Yellow.

Due to the lack of interest here, I will hold off until we have others ready.

With the Emblem gear at argent tourney a person can be at ICC in a couple of days with a few T9 pieces fyi.

My tank set went from 2100 to 2500 in a week of gaming, and I still have 4 pieces that are 200, so the improvment comes fast.

I am Game for ToC stuff too. We can earn the marks from there that allows us to get the 2nd level tier 9 gear which is also a nice upgrade from the base T9 stuff. I will try to get in the mood to play the healer again. A few pieces for him and he will be at 2500 also.

Sweetumz has gotten 2 new tank pieces. I will also work on him to see if he can be a viable tank once again. debating if I want to work towards him DW tanking.... not sure about that one.

Greetings all, i see that i have once again missed these. I really want to run some of these with you all, although i have not been on wyren much. I have however been working on my shammy, his GS is close to what you need to run these, sitting at around 2300. The name for that toon is Wolfgon. I also have been lvling my mage, name is crazygnomey, pls add these two toons to your friends list and keep me updated as i would love to do some new fun things.

Lets go wyren. Our big dps at this point is my sons hunter. Can kick out much more dps than DS without breaking a sweat. DS's tank set is a tad over 2500, but its not the GS I worry about its lack of experience. Pali tanking is easy however, so it compensates. When I get a shadowpriest or hunter kicking out over 5k, I loose the agro. Hoping that improves with my dps.

I will work on Zantos once again. Even though I have tired of healing heroics with him I am willing to heal raids. He is only at 2300 GS right now. A few days of heroics and he will be up there though.

Altheus is over 2600 now for DPS and I'll have Trissta up there within a couple of weeks for Tanking. I'm willing to do either. The fact is that I have not seen half of Naxx, any of Ulduar, half of VoA, any of Eye of Eternity, any of ToCr, and obviously any of ICC. Looking at gear drops, and current level of most higher end guild members, setting sights on ToCr with incursions into ICC after a few weeks would probably yield the greatest returns. VoA may be a good target too, though difficult to get into and coordinate with the guild. We just never seem to be able to garner interest in raid content when it comes down to actually doing it. It's always "I really want to get in there, but I can't do it for another 2 hours," or "Let me get dinner and run to the store first. I'll be back in 45 minutes to run it." My only answer is to return to days of Kara when there was a two night a week raid schedule that every one could rely on. I am available for about 3 hours every night Tuesday through Saturday with some exceptions. If there is a raid night scheduled on one of those nights, I'm there for 3 hours (8pm-11pm est). I don't care if I only get to do some of the content. It's more than what I'm getting to do now. I'm more than happy to jump in whenever when I'm on.

I think the only way to have any group/guild Raiding to work is exactly as you have described Altheus. We need to schedule a set day and get solid 3-4 hour commitments from the folks coming.

This is always a tough exercise in coa for whatever reason.

The few of us that are interested could always band together in smaller pockets and get into a raid.

It hinders us most when we get into a Raid, even an easy one like Naxx and no one knows the fights. Last time we where in Naxx, everything was going preety good until we got to the 4 horsemen. Erm uh...what do we do. We had the skill and the gear by far, just a general lack of knowledge. We like to do this together as a guild so that when we wipe on these, no one is screaming NUUUBB at you for your failure etc. Still we cant show up for these and just learn as we go. We need more than one person who knows the fights and is willing to teach others, or even better, folks do a quick read on the fight first....

EOE is a great example. Super easy, but if you dont know the fight, you will certainly DIE horribly, and in seconds... We cant show up and have 10 clueless individuals, then its just frustrating and many end up shaking their head saying "I dont know why I do this"

The paradox to all this is, when you put in for Raid these days, folks want rediculously high GS and want to see the achievment to make sure you "know" the fights.

What an impatient game this has become.
